Delete your GlowGrid / TAAP Games account

GlowGrid is published by TAAP Games / TAAP Studios. A player or their parent or guardian can use this page to request deletion of the account, associated personal data, or both.

Request GlowGrid account or data deletion

How to submit a request

1. Select Request GlowGrid account or data deletion above or email support@nitishtripathi.com with the subject GlowGrid account or data deletion request.
2. Include either the Google account email used with GlowGrid, the GlowGrid player ID, or both. This information is needed to identify the correct account.
3. State whether the request is from the player or from a parent or guardian. TAAP Games may ask for a reasonable account-ownership confirmation before processing deletion.
4. You will receive confirmation when the request has been completed.

Parent or guardian requests

A parent or guardian may request deletion for a child by using the same email link. Include the child's Google account email or GlowGrid player ID, state that you are the parent or guardian, and provide an email address where TAAP Games can confirm the request. Do not send documents or additional sensitive information unless TAAP Games specifically requests it for verification.

Data that is deleted

After the request is verified, TAAP Games deletes the following data associated with the account:

• The Firebase Authentication account used to sign in to GlowGrid.
• Account identifiers and the associated player profile.
• Cloud-save data, including level progress, stars, Glow Coins, hints, and saved settings.
• Gameplay history and account-linked activity records.
• Leaderboard identity and score where TAAP Games or the connected service permits removal.
• Glow Coin, owned-item, purchase, and progress records, except records that must be retained by law.
• Support data that is no longer required to complete or document the request.

Data that may remain

Aggregated or anonymized analytics may remain when they can no longer be linked to the player. TAAP Games may also retain limited security, fraud-prevention, payment, legal-compliance, and deletion-request audit records.

Completion and retention periods

Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups and rotating system logs for up to 90 days. Minimal deletion-request, security, fraud-prevention, payment, and legal records may be retained for up to 24 months, or longer only when required by law or an active dispute. Fully anonymized aggregate information may be kept indefinitely because it no longer identifies a player.
