This policy applies only to GlowGrid and explains how TAAP Games collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when players use the game and its connected services.

Audience

GlowGrid is a simple puzzle game for general audiences, including children aged 6 and older. GlowGrid does not currently contain behavioral advertising, personalized advertising, or use the Android advertising ID.

Data collected

Depending on the features a player uses, GlowGrid may collect or process:

Google Play Games and Firebase sign-in data: a Play Games player ID, display name, and an optional email address or account identifier when provided by Google or the player.
Game progress: unlocked levels, stars, best times, moves, attempts, clears, Glow Coins, equipped items, owned items, consumables, and in-game purchase records.
Leaderboard data: player display name, score, rank, and country or region code or flag when displayed. The leaderboard score combines game progress such as stars and best times.
Gameplay analytics: levels started, completed, or failed; time spent; moves or taps; hints; retries; progress through a level; and where players stop playing.
App and device diagnostics: app version, device model, operating-system version, language, approximate region, crash or performance information, and Firebase installation or app-instance IDs.
Support information: information a player or parent sends when asking for help, privacy support, or account or data deletion.

GlowGrid does not collect precise location, contacts, photos, messages, audio, user files, health data, or the Android advertising ID. A country or region code used for leaderboards is not precise location.

How data is used

TAAP Games uses the information described above to:

Save and restore player progress across sessions.
Merge local progress with progress connected to a signed-in Firebase or Play Games account.
Submit scores and display Google Play Games leaderboards.
Improve level difficulty, puzzle design, rewards, and game balance.
Detect crashes, performance problems, corrupted saves, abuse, and fraud.
Answer support, privacy, account, and deletion requests.
Operate and secure the game and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers and sharing

Data may be processed by service providers needed to operate GlowGrid. These include Google Play Games Services for optional sign-in and leaderboards; Firebase Authentication for anonymous or linked accounts; Cloud Firestore for cloud saves; and Firebase Analytics for gameplay analytics. Firebase Crashlytics or Firebase Performance may process crash and performance diagnostics if those services are enabled in a released build.

Glow Coins and current in-game items are earned or spent inside the game. If GlowGrid offers real-money purchases through Google Play Billing, Google processes the purchase and TAAP Games receives the transaction status and purchase record needed to provide, restore, prevent fraud on, and support that purchase. TAAP Games does not receive complete payment-card details from Google Play.

TAAP Games does not sell personal data and does not share personal data for third-party behavioral advertising.

Children's privacy

Sign-in is optional and is used mainly for leaderboards and cloud progress. Children can play without supplying a name or email directly to TAAP Games. Collection is limited to gameplay, progress, diagnostics, analytics, and optional account features needed to operate and improve the game. GlowGrid currently has no personalized ads and does not use the advertising ID.

A parent or guardian may ask questions or request deletion of a child's account and data by emailing info@nitishtripathi.com. Include the Google account email used with GlowGrid or the GlowGrid player ID, if available. If advertising is added later, this policy and the Google Play data-safety and audience declarations will be updated before that version is released.

Security

Data sent between GlowGrid and its online services is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access is limited to TAAP Games personnel and service providers who need it to operate, secure, support, or improve the game. No security method can guarantee absolute protection.

Retention and deletion

Account-linked cloud saves, profile data, and leaderboard records are retained while the account is active or as needed to provide the requested game features. Gameplay analytics and diagnostics are retained only as long as reasonably needed for game improvement, security, and support. Verified deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days. Backup copies and rotating logs may take up to 90 days to expire. Minimal security, fraud-prevention, legal, payment, and deletion-request records may be retained for up to 24 months, or longer when required by law or an active dispute. Aggregated analytics that no longer identify a player may be retained indefinitely.

A verified deletion request removes or de-identifies, as applicable:

The Firebase Authentication account linked to GlowGrid.
Cloud-save data and account-linked progress, stars, best times, moves, coins, items, and settings.
Gameplay history and support data that is no longer required.
Leaderboard identity and score where TAAP Games or the connected service permits removal.

Legal or payment records, fraud and security logs, and anonymized or aggregated analytics that no longer identify the player may remain for the periods described above.

Changes to this policy

Material changes to this privacy policy will be posted on this same page, with a revised last-updated date.
